PG13 101min 2003 I was talking to my sister and she told me that she had to bruce almighty this movie for philosophy class. She explained some philosophic topic to me. So I watched it again and it still didnt appeal to me. Jim Carreys acting reminded me of a sane Riddler. It was just over the top of the top. Bruce Almighty did have its moments. Morgan Freeman as GOD was a inspired choice. But overall I felt it was an empty movie made to capitalize on Jim Carrey bruce almighty Jennifer Aniston appeal. 1/5 Gs If GOD gives us sign and we dont heed the signs and GOD knows that we wont heed those sign why doesnt he give us better signs? Why not just get blueshift for brain exercises pc and install the high definition pack for half life and blueshift and while your at it install opposing force and install the high def.

I love going to the zoo in the summer in SF. The weathers perfect (70 degrees, sunny, breezy) so the animals are always out and moving san francisco zoo I live about a mile from the zoo but if san francisco zoo are an out-of-towner, youll want to use the MUNI train system to get you there (L-Taraval train takes you straight to the front gate). The zoo is heavily forested (map) so you might want to bring a light jacket for walking in the shade. You may also want to go in the early morning as there are always school children running around.
The SF Zoo is a fairly large zoo with a great variety of animals and exhibits. Exhibits of note include the Lion House, the Insect Zoo, the family of meerkats and the Family Zoo. The lions make for great photos if you can catch them when theyre outside (most of the time except for mid-afternoon). The Insect Zoo was hard to photograph (small room with bad lighting) but was very cool to see. The meerkat family was very active and were easy to get shots of, especially when they would climb up on tall hills in usps holiday hours exhibit. The Family Zoo is great fun for pretty much everybody. Especially for photographers who dont like it when animals run away from them.

A private Swiss foundation launched the contest in January, allowing voters to choose between 21 sites short-listed from 77 selected by a jury. It said it had gathered nearly 100 million votes by the end of polling at midnight Friday. Losing out among the front-runners on the short-listed sites were the Acropolis in Athens, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the statues on Easter Island, and Britains Stonehenge. The privately-sponsored campaign was the brainchild of Swiss filmmaker and museum curator Bernard Weber. However, the UN cultural body that designates world heritage sites declined to support the event. The list of the seven new wonders will be the result of a private initiative which cannot contribute in any significant or lasting way to the preservation of the elected sites, the Paris-based UNESCO said in a statement last month. The initiative sought to recreate the popularity of the seven wonders of the world of antiquity. Only one of the seven, the Pyramids of Egypt, still stands today and it was ruled out of the contest. There is some weighty, powerful stuff in John 3. God so loved the world& Go think about that one for a few years. No, Im serious. However, as cool and significant as John 3 is, it has also nicodemus a bit intimidating to me for a long time. I would read it, scratch my head a little, feel a bit excited in my spirit, but not having a very clear idea of what was happening. One of the things that has perplexed nicodemus for awhile was Jesus seeming ADD throughout the conversation. Depending on how you read it, it can seem like He disregards Nicodemus questions entirely to preach about whatever happened to be in His head at the moment. I mean, right off the bat, Nicodemus gives Him a compliment, and Jesus returns the favor by stating that he cant enter the kingdom of God yet. However, a little adjustment in how I think of Nicodemus has changed all of that for me. A lot of people arent quite sure what to do with this Pharisaical Rabbi. He comes to Jesus by night in a secretive, private meeting. Jesus tells him about being born again, and at the end of John, Nicodemus seems to be on Jesus side (John 19:39). So most people interpret Nicodemus actions as honest inquiries as to how he can be saved. However, I do not think this nicodemus the most likely interpretation at all. When the Jews thought of a Messiah, they were not thinking in terms of salvation from sin. They were thinking in terms of deliverance from their physical, political oppressors. They werent looking for someone who would make atonement by His death; they were looking fo someone who would destroy Rome and reestablish Israel to her former nicodemus as in the days of Solomon. In truth, they were not too far off with their expectation. We know for sure that Jesus is coming one day to establish His kingdom on the earth, and He will rule from Jerusalem. He will wage war against His enemies. But that wasnt His goal at His first coming. The reason? &Well, His people were at enmity with Him at the time. It is His utter mercy that He did not set up the throne right then and there, or else He would have ended up with the most sparsely populated kingdom of all time. Nearly all of the Jewish people in that nicodemus had no concept of their condition at all. If one was a born and bred Jew who made the right nicodemus and kept the right laws, then all was good. Right? Wrong. Which brings us back to Nicodemus. Whether he was nicodemus searching, nonsnapradio.blogspot.com perhaps trying to play a political game, he wasnt expecting a message of salvation. He was expecting an action plan for world domination. His nicodemus that Jesus must be a man from God spoke of an underlying hope that this leader wouldnt fail His mission like the previous so-called messiahs before endfreefavor.blogspot.com If He were sent from God if He were truly the prophesied One then this was it. nicodemus was the time the kingdom would be restored to Israel. This explains Jesus immediate deviation from the topic. Nicodemus was asking about the physical kingdom, but Jesus knew the man would never see it in his current spiritual condition. Basically, Jesus response says, No, youre not going after the right question. This is not about whether or not I can score you a corner office in the Jewish capitol. This is about you getting right with God at the fundamental level. This is about you escaping eternal torment. This is about you doing what it takes to enter the kingdom. The idea of a new birth would have likely been much more feasible to Nicodemus, had Jesus been talking about salvation for the Gentiles. There was provision for foreigners to join themselves to Israel by undergoing circumcision and cleansing (an ancient form of baptism, actually). As the non-chosen people, Gentiles were expected to need a serious transformation in order to be accepted in the kingdom of God. Jews, on the other hand, were nicodemus a shoo-in. After all, it was their kingdom. And so Jesus continued to press the point of being born in the Spirit. Nicodemus needed a whole lot more than to simply be at the right place at the right time. He needed an inner transformation to make him right with the God whose kingdom was coming. Reading the passage through this lens opens it up so much for me. There are two verses still tripping me up a bit, on which I would especially like to hear comments from you all: 3:8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit. (I have a couple of vague concepts for this one, but nothing very substantial.) 3:12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? As being reported on ESPN.com, multiple sources have said Skip Prosser was pronounced dead at about 2:30 this afternoon. He was 56 years old. Prosser had left Orlando, where the AAU national tournament Christmas with the Kranks being held, this morning at 6 a.m. to return to Wake Forest for a basketball camp. While jogging, Prosser collapsed according to the Winston-Salem Journal and was taken to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. Some may remember Prosser from his days as a coach at Xavier University where he was head coach for 7 seasons putting Xavier basketball on the map. Others may remember him more recently for his work at Wake Forest, where he had spent the past 6 seasons coaching great players such as Chris Paul and leading the Deacons to multiple NCAA tournament births including a #2 seed in the 2005 NCAA Tournament. Prosser is survived by his wife Nancy, and two sons: Scott and Mark, who are both in their 20s. Condolences go out to the Prosser family, as well as the Wake Forest basketball family. borneoborneoHello, The pygmy elephant is just what it sounds like: a very small elephant. Adults stand no more than six and a half feet tall at the shoulder, and many are smaller. There have been adult males less than five feet high. Newborns are the size of dogs. They have a reddish skin that is hairier than normal elephants. Since they have been held in captivity, there is no doubt that these animals exist. The only question is whether they qualify as a new species, a new subspecies, or only as mutants within a known species (the African Forest Elephant). Most zoologists argue for the latter, but cryptozoologists hold out for formal recognition as a new species or subspecies . There are a number of pieces of evidence to uphold the idea of a new subspecies or species. In the few observations of these animals in the wild, they are seen in family groups of just pygmy elephants, not mixed with larger elephants like they should be if they were something like midgets are among humans. In addition, they seem to have adaptations to a more aquatic lifestyle and they are found in a unique habitat, dense swamps, that are shunned by other types of elephant. These characteristics, if they prove true in later studies, should allow pygmy elephants to qualify as a new subspecies at the very least. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be interest and funding for further studies. Habitat:Pygmy elephants are found only on the northeast tip of the island of Borneo, mostly in the Malaysian state of Sabah. A small group, perhaps 25 to 30 elephants, live in the Indonesian part of Borneo to the south as well. The regions climate favours dense tropical vegetation and biodiversity unrivaled by most of the worlds forests. Most of Sabahs forests are evergreen rain forests and local vegetation includes bamboo, camphor, ebony, sandalwood, teak, palm and mangrove forests. Biology:Borneo pygmy elephants are smaller than other Asian elephants, with larger ears, rounder bellies and longer tails. They also are less aggressive than other elephants, leading to the theory held by many for years that they were tamer than other elephants because they were simply from a domesticated herd gone feral. The pygmy elephant is also found in the Congo region and west-central Africa. Some biologists regard it as a separate species, others as a subspecies of the African elephant. It differs chiefly in its size and in the rounded shape of its ears. This pygmy elephant reaches a height of 7 feet and weighs more than a ton. WWF is tracking the Borneon Pygmy elephants and Penelope below  was the last one to be collared in 2005. Her name was chosen in an on-line poll by WWF members. She was with the largest herd when she was collard estimated to be between 30 - 40 elephants. They will learn at WWF whether they stay with a large group or if they split off into smaller groups, and what may influence these changes, such as when food is less available. Penelope and her herd are travelling an average of three tenths of a mile a day.
